What to expect during your shoe sizing

Foot measurements

A thorough assessment of your feet to dictate the appropriate last and model of shoe most suitable for you.

Insoles

The foot is your foundation and main contact point. We have found using the latest saddle pressure mapping technology that saddle pressure can be reduced by up to 50% by simply administering arch support.

Cleat Fitting

We can assess your current cleat location and recommend any necessary changes, or give you the correct starting point if this is going to be your first pair of cycling shoes.

I have booked a bike fit do I also need to book a shoe sizing?


No.

Shoe sizing is included as part of our bike fitting service, so there’s no need to book it separately.

Do I need to bring my bike?


No

You don’t need to bring your bike for the shoe sizing, as pedaling on your bike isn’t part of the process. If you’d like to have new pedals fitted or purchase pedals during your shoe sizing, we can, of course, install them on your bike for you.

What happens if I need to order shoes in?

If we don’t have your size or preferred color in stock on the day, we can place a special order for you. Once the shoes arrive in store, you’ll receive a link to our new shoe collection, allowing you to easily reschedule an appointment for collection.

What brands do you stock?

We mainly stock Lake shoes, but we also carry Bont and Giro.

What sizes do you stock?

We stock sizes ranging from 36 to 52, covering a wide range to fit most riders comfortably.

How long does a shoe sizing last?

The shoe sizing typically takes around 30 minutes, giving us enough time to ensure a perfect fit for your feet.

What do I need to bring with me?

Bring your usual riding socks and, if you have them, your existing shoes. It’s always helpful for us to see them in person, but it’s not essential.
