FAQs

What bikes do you service?

We specialise in mid- to high-end performance bicycles, including road, gravel, Triathlon, Time Trial and mountain bikes. Our workshop is equipped to work on a wide range of bikes and we’re always happy to help wherever possible. The only bikes we do not service are those fitted with motors or electric assistance (e-bikes).

Do you service e-bikes?

No. We do not currently service e-bikes or bikes fitted with electric motors. Our workshop is focused on servicing and maintaining non-assisted performance bicycles.

Do you service MTB's?

Yes, we do. We’re happy to service mountain bikes; however, suspension components such as forks, rear shocks, and dropper seatposts may need to be sent to a specialist suspension service provider where required.

Can I bring my own parts?

Yes, you’re welcome to supply your own parts. For items that we are able to supply in-house, a £15 corkage fee per part will apply.

When can I drop my bike off?

Bikes can be dropped off on the morning of your booked service. Our workshop opens at 9:30am Monday–Friday and 10:00am on Saturdays. If needed, you’re also welcome to drop your bike off up to one week prior to your scheduled service date

When will my bike be ready to collect?

We aim to have your bike ready for collection on the same day. In cases where a specific part needs to be specially ordered, we’ll keep you informed and provide an updated timeline so you know exactly when your bike will be ready.

How long can I leave my bike with you for?

Bikes can be stored with us for up to one week. After this period, please arrange collection, as a storage fee of £5 per day will apply to cover extended holding.

Do you offer chain waxing?

Yes, we offer professional chain waxing for £35. Please note that this fee does not include the cost of the chain itself.

Do you offer ceramic coating?

Yes, we offer professional ceramic coating for £150. When booked as part of our Ultimate Service, the labour is fully covered—you’re only charged £55 for the kit itself.

Can any services be done while I wait?

Typically, our services are not performed while you wait. However, we ask you to get in touch in advance on +44 (0)20 8940 2274 or info@bicyclerichmond.co.uk to discuss the possibility and explore options tailored to your needs.

Where is your workshop located?

You’ll find us at 120a Sheen Road, Richmond Upon Thames, London, TW9 1UR. Our workshop is open Tuesday to Friday from 09:30 to 17:30 and on Saturdays from 10:00 to 17:00. We’re closed on Sundays.
